Description: This is a canonic mass throughout. The four part sections are made of only two voices, the 3 part sections of only one voice, and the other two voices derive by means of a canon. In the 4 part sections (Kyrie, Gloria, Credo, Sanctus, Osanna, Agnus Dei I) the alto is followed by the soprano a fourth higher a semibrevis (in the Osanna a brevis) apart, whereas the tenor follows the bass also a fourth higher and a semibrevis (in the Osanna a brevis) apart. In the 3 part sections (Pleni and Benedictus) all the three voices are in canon. In the Pleni the tenor follows the Bass a fourth higher and a semibrevis apart, the alto follows the tenor a fifth higher and a brevis apart. The final Agnus Dei II is for 5 voices, it also has two canons, the tenor follows the bass a fourth higher and a semibrevis apart, whereas the two altos and the soprano also sing a canon, the alto I starts, this is followed by the alto II in unison six semibreves apart, the soprano follows the alto II in the usual pattern, a fourth higher and a semibrevis apart.
