To the promotor of christian piety,
the protector and defensor of Christ's Church,
our blessed, powerful, great ruler, tsar Nicolas Alexandrovich, all-Russian emperor,
lord and master of other countries,
grant, o Lord, a pious and peaceful life,
good health, good luck and success in his undertakings,
victory over his enemies and lordship over them,
and guard him for many years.
(May you live) for many years!
