My shepherd is the living Lord (John Foster)
- Editor: Edmund Gooch (submitted 2018-03-27). Score information: A4, 4 pages, 70 kB Copyright: Public Domain
- Edition notes: The original order of parts is given on the first page (for the opening symphony) as Vio: 1st.& 2d. [on the same stave] - Viola - Organ e Violoncello [indicating that the Violoncello part doubles the Organ left hand]. The two Violin parts and the Violoncello part have here been split out onto separate staves. For the remainder of the piece, the four voice parts are given between the Viola and Organ staves. The alto and tenor parts are printed in the source in the treble clef, an octave above sounding pitch. The first verse of text is underlaid in the source, with the three further verses given here printed after the music. The soprano D and C on beat 1 of bar 9, and the corresponding notes in the Violin 1 and Organ right hand parts, given here as pairs of quavers, are printed in the source in each part as a small quaver grace note followed by a full-sized crotchet, without slur. The soprano minim on beats 3-4 of bar 11, given here as an E♭, is printed in the source as the F a tone higher. The trill shown in square brackets in the alto part in bar 11 has been added editorially.
