Italian text
Nel bel terreno della donna mia,
S'erge fra altiere sponde un vago colle,
Qual cinge con mirabil leggiadria,
Verde boschetto delicato e molle,
A den-tro e dolce tal fonte natia,
Che mai non satia et ogni sete tolle,
Quivi col vomer mio pur fess' io un solco,
Oime vorrei poi sempr' esser bifolco.
