O saving victim,
Sole hope of the faithful,
In you France trusts:
Grant peace, preserve the [royal] Lily.

This text is sometimes used as a middle verse to O salutaris hostia, with the first line changed to O vere digne Hostia ("O truly worthy host").

O heilbringende Opfergabe,
Einzige Hoffnung der Gläubigen,
Auf dich vertraut Frankreich,
Gib Frieden, bewahre die Lilie. [: die französische Wappenblume]
