English text
On to Bethlem let us hurry,
Singing, dancing, free from worry
There to greet our newborn King
Homage pay and praises sing.
High above a star is shining,
Beaming bright, our footsteps guiding,
Til we reach that humble stable,
Where He slumbers in His cradle.
Angel voices swell their chorus,
Cherubs, seraphs winging o'er us.
All the heav'nly host rejoices
Now we add our mortal voices.
So to Bethlem let us hurry
Singing, dancing, free from worry
There to greet our newborn King
Homage pay and praises now let us sing!
