Basiron is first reported Oct. 1459 as an entering choirboy at the since-demolished Sainte-chapelle in Bourges, where he rose to Instructor (1464), Vicar (1466 or 1467) and Master (1469). He left in 1474 and, following a gap in the records, seems to have been back in Bourges by 1490; his decease is recorded in 31 May 1491.
