Michael Praetorius (1571-1621) -- no relation to Hieronymus or Jacob
Hieronymus Praetorius (1560-1629), German Protestant composer
Jacob Praetorius (1586-1651), organist at St. Jacobi church in Hamburg, son of Hieronymus (note: Jacob was also the father of Hieronymus, and also a composer)
