Quall'hor del mio bel Sol contemplo il lume
Che d’ogni gravi affanni il cor ristaura
Mille sospiri all’hor’io spargo all’aura.
Se miro il crin che l’aura rasserena
Co’l crespo inannellato e lucid’oro,
Lui resto prigion, mi moro.
Se gli gigli, le rose e le viole
Che sì addolciscon l’aura di quel viso,
Mi par goder in terra il Paradiso.
Dunque se questo cor, né al Sol, né a l’aura
Ritrova al suo rifugio altro che Laura,
Ragion è ben ch’ognor risoni Laura.
