Latin text Quam pulchra es et quam decora, charissima, in deliciis! Statura tua adsimilata est palme et ubera tua botris. Caput tuum ut carmelus, collum tuum sicut turris eburnea. Veni dilecta mea, egrediamur in ortum vidiamus si floruerunt mala punica. Ibi dabo tibi ubera mea. Amen. Song of Songs 7:6-7,5,4,11-12

English translation How beautiful art thou, and how comely my dearest, in delights! Thy stature is like to a palme-tree, and thy breasts to clusters of grapes. Thy head as Carmelus, Thy neck as a towre of yvorie. Come my beloved, let us goe forth into the [garden], Let us see if the pomegranates flourish; there wil I give thee my brests. (Douay ver., 1610)
