Latin text
Regnum mundi, et omnem ornatum saeculi contempsi propter amorem Domini mei Jesu Christi:
quem vidi, quem amavi, in quem credidi, quem dilexi.
English translation
I despised the kingdom of the world, and all the beauty of the world, for love of the Lord Jesus Christ:
whom I saw, whom I loved, in whom I have believed, in whom I have delighted.
