Latin text Reminiscere miserationum tuarum, Domine, et misericordiae tuae, quae a seculo sunt; ne unquam dominentur nobis inimici nostri: libera nos Deus Israel ex omnibus angustis nostris. Ad te Domine levavi animam meam: Deus meus in te confido, non erubescam. (Psalm 25 (24):6,3,22,1-2)

English translation Remember, O Lord, thy bowels of compassion; and thy mercies that are from the beginning of the world. Neither let my enemies laugh at me: for none of them that wait on thee shall be confounded. Deliver Israel, O God, from all his tribulations. To thee, O Lord, have I lifted up my soul.
