Latin.png Latin text

Scio enim quod Redemptor meus vivit
et in novissimo die de terra surrecturus sum.
Rursum circumdabor pelle mea,
et in carne mea videbo Deum Salvatorem meum.
Quem visurus sum ego ipse,
et oculi mei conspecturi sunt, et non alius.
Reposita est haec spes mea in sinu meo.

English.png English translation

I know that my Redeemer lives
and that at the last day I shall rise from the earth.
Again I shall be clothed with my body,
and in my flesh shall I see God my Saviour.
I am to see him my very self,
and my eyes are to behold, and no other.
This hope of mine is stored in my breast.
