Latin and Italian text Sed libera nos a malo. Pace ormai non più dolore. Se io te ho dato l'alma el core. El foco mai non callo. Sed libera nos a malo. Pace or mai non più dolore. Libera me di catena Ch'io te adoro per dea in terra. Libera me di tanta pena. dal duol che mi sotterra. Libera mi e non più guerra.

English translation<poem> But deliver us from evil. Peace, and nevermore pain since I have rendered to you soul and heart, and the fire will never relent. But deliver us from evil. Peace, and nevermore pain. Deliver me from these chains [by which?] I adore you as an earthly goddess. Deliver me from the doom of a suffering that would bury me; Deliver me and an end to war.<poem>
