The present edition follows the 1556 edition by the distribution of Tenor and Quintus parts. All subsequent editions (Gardano 1566, Gerlach 1568 and Magnum opus musicum) have the Tenor of 1556 as Quintus and the Quintus of 1556 as Tenor.
