Dear Dave,

I am an avid connoisseur of Renaissance music and am impressed by the consistent accuracy of your editions of Byrd. I wanted to call attention to the location III.34.1. Assuming we can take the printer as his word that "clausit" is not to be set, should "sce" be moved to III.34.2, so that "vi" can end on a note longer than a quaver in accordance with usual 16th-century practice?

Thanks! Mirlan (talk) 22:13, 17 August 2017 (UTC)
