I intensely dislike the organization of this page. Separating the works within the categories of Sacred and Secular music by the number of voices of the works makes finding a piece of which you only know the title more tedious, than as if all the sacred and secular pieces were put together - as was the case before Barry Johnston reorganised the page. Since only a small number of Rore's works are available on CPDL (and anyway, he was nowhere near as prolific as Lassus or Palestrina), the present organisation is entirely unnecessary (and rather annoying). Could not we have it back as it was before Barry Johnston's intervention? Imruska (talk) 10:28, 1 September 2018 (UTC)

Is this what you wanted? – Barry Johnston (talk) 14:35, 1 September 2018 (UTC)

  • The main thing is to retain the ability for novice users to add new editions and entirely new scores using the AUTOMATIC addscore feature without needing to fiddle with it manually.
  • That said, it's easy to find a particular title using command-F or the Windows equivalent in a situation where it's subdivided, but I don't have strong feelings either way.
