Talk:Stava Maria dolente (Antonio Lotti)

The text, paraphrasing the Latin Stabat mater is by Evasio Leone (1765-1821), and was clearly authored some time after Lotti's death. The words must therefore have been applied to some existing hymn by Lotti, though no original source has been found.

The attribution to Lotti may be spurious.
