The title of this piece ...

I have corrected this title of this piece both in the title of the page and in the title under "General information" to the original spelling as it appears in Dowland's original manuscript and on the Dowland composer page on this site. Modernised spellings are used in the editions and in the text at the bottom of this page but the original title must surely be "Weepe you no more sad fountaines". no more comment ...

Since there hasn't been any more discussion on this topic, I'm returning the title of this work (under General Information) to Weepe you no more sad fountaines. Bobnotts 07:44, 23 December 2006 (PST)

Bar 1: Bass - G should be F.
Bar 3: Bass - 2nd note should probably be B, not C.
Bar 4: Cantus - first note should be E, not E.
Bars 7-8: All parts - air for fair.
Bar 10: All parts - wash for waste.
Bars 13-15: Cantus - the barring differs from the other three parts, for no apparent reason.
Bar 16: Bass - lie for lies.
Bar 19: Cantus - E should probably be E, to match Tenor bar 16.
Bar 21: Bass - sof- for soft-.
