Tam z tej strany Dunaja,
tam se chlapci scházijú
a sobě hádky dávajú.

Kdo ten Dunaj přeplave,
ten to děvče dostane.

A ten šohaj, mladý pán,
podepřel si své boky,
a pluje v Dunaj hluboký.
Dyž ku koncu doplaval,
vesele si zazpíval.

Heja hej.

Hoja, chlapci, zpívejte vesele,
už to děvče moje je.
