Life
Born: 28 March 1515
Died: 4 October 1582
Biography Saint Teresa of Ávila, also known as Saint Teresa of Jesus, was a Spanish mystic. A Carmelite nun, she reformed the order, forming (with St. John of the Cross) the Discalced Carmelites.
