English text
1. There is a hope of turning
wherever people roam;
our vagrant hearts are guided
by that which leads us home.
2. We recognize the Spirit
that moves toward growth and grace,
and turn to follow freely
a God-directed pace.
3. We've bent to harsher counsel,
and studied what we lack,
and tried to carry teachings
that break a seeker's back.
4. Today we praise a Wisdom
that buoys up the soul,
and points us to the Wonder
