Born: 1525 Died: 1569

Biography
Thomas Causton was an English. composer of church music. He was a gentleman of the Chapel Royal from c. 1550. Seven anthems and three services composed by him were published in Day's Certaine Notes (1565). He also composed many psalms for the first harmonized metrical English psalter (Day's Whole Psalmes, 1563).
