Biography

Thomas Roberts was born in BodminLink to the English Wikipedia article, the youngest of the three children of Thomas Roberts and Elizabeth (née Best). He became a Wesleyan preacher, and was appointed to the LondonderryLink to the English Wikipedia article circuit in 1786. In 1790 he was appointed to BristolLink to the English Wikipedia article, and subsequently worked there and in South Wales.
