Latin text
Timor Domini, gloria
et gloriatio et laetitia
et corona exsultationis;
timor Domini delectabit cor
et dabit laetitiam et gaudium
et longitudinem dierum.
English translation by Edward Tambling
Fear of the Lord, glory
and triumph and joy
and exulting in the crown;
fear of the Lord will delight the heart
and give happiness and joy
and and a length of days.
(Ecclesiasticus 1:11-12)
