Tollite hostias,

et adorate Dominum

in atrio sancto eius.

Laetentur coeli,

et exultet terra

a facie Domini,

quoniam venit.

English translation

Bring offerings,

and adore the Lord

in his holy place.

Rejoice, heaven,

and exult, all the earth,

before the Lord,

for he comes.

German translation

Alle Welt freue sich:

Christ ist geboren,

Gottes Sohn kam in die Welt

uns zum Heil erkoren.

Jauchzet ihr Himmel,

frohlocke du Erde,

bringet Ehre und Ruhm dem Herrn,

Alleluja.

Prenez vos offrandes

et adorez le Seigneur

dans son sanctuaire.
