our bagpipe song now carol thus:
Fa la la la la la.

Whilst flocks and herds be grazing,
let us our rest be praising
Fa la la la la la.

To teach our flocks their wonted bounds,
on bagpipes play the shepherds' grounds:
Fa la la la la la.

The tender lambs with bleating,
will help our joyful meeting.
