Vidi aquam is the antiphon for the sprinkling of water at the beginning of Mass during Eastertide; it replaces Asperges me. It consists of an antiphon, a Psalm verse and the Doxology. The text of the antiphon is drawn from the vision of the Temple in Ezechiel 47. The Psalm excerpt is the first verse of Psalm 117 in the Vulgate (Hebrew 118).
