im Himmel und auf Erden;
neben die Fürsten seines Volks;
der die Unfruchtbare im Hause Wohnen machet,
dass sie eine fröhliche Kindermutter wird.
Alleluja.

English.png English translation

From the rising of the sun to its fall,
the name of the Lord is to be praised.
Let the name of the Lord be praised,
from now until eternity.
The Lord is high over all the nations;
his glory goes as high as the heavens.
Who is like the Lord our God,
who has seated himself on high
and stoops down to look
on the heavens and the earth?
He raises the poor from the dust
and lifts the needy from the ashes,
that he may set them next to princes,
next to princes of their people;
he sets the barren woman in her house to live,
that she may be a happy mother of children.
Hallelujah.
