6  und siehet auf das Niedrige im Himmel und auf Erden;
8  dass er ihn setze neben die Fürsten, neben die Fürsten seines Volks;
Alleluja.

English.png English translation

3  From the rising of the sun to its fall, the name of the Lord is to be praised.
2  Let the name of the Lord be praised, from now until eternity.
4  The Lord is high over all the nations; his glory goes as high as the heavens.
5  Who is like the Lord our God, who has seated himself on high
6  and stoops down to look on the heavens and the earth?
7  He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ashes,
8  that he may set them next to princes, next to princes of their people;
9  he sets the barren woman in her house to live, that she may be a happy mother of children.
Hallelujah.
