Biography
William Kethe was a Marian exile
and translator of metrical psalms: he contributed 25 psalms to the 1561 Anglo-Genevan Psalter, of which 10 were included in John Day's 1562 psalter The Whole Booke of Psalmes (the 'Old Version'). Of these, the best-known is his version of Psalm 100, 'All people that on earth do dwell'.
