Biography
"Except for his years at Trinity College in Cambridge, Vincent spent most of his life in Westminster, first as a student at Westminster School, then as teacher and headmaster, and finally as dean. He was also the rector of St. John’s, and later of Islip, as well as sub-almoner to the king. Besides many of his sermons, his diverse publications include writings on public education, parochial music, Greek verbs, and ancient geography and commerce." (hymnary.org)
