French text Au joly bois ie rencontray mamye; quant mapercue elle fut resioye. lle me dit tout bas en soubriant baises moy tant tant, fringues moy tant tant, mon amye ie vous prie, baises moy tant tant, fringues moy tant tant, si seray vostre amye.

French text (modernized) Au joli bois je rencontrai m'amie; Quand m'aperçut elle fut réjouie. Elle me dit, tout bas en souriant: "Baisez-moi tant tant, fringuez-moi tant tant, Mon ami je vous prie, Baisez-moi tant tant, fringuez-moi tant tant, Si serai votre amie".

English translation So in the delightful wood, I meet my lover; When she clocks me, she's well pleased. She smiles and she's like: "Snog me lots, grope me lots, I'm asking you, mate, Snog me lots, grope me lots, If I'm to be your g.f." (trans. Timmi O'Danaos & Donna Ferrentes)
