  • (Posted 2018-01-21)  CPDL #48513:
Editor: Mick Swithinbank (submitted 2018-01-21).   Score information: A4, 5 pages, 43 kB   Copyright: CPDL
Edition notes: Original pitch and note values. Three of the four voices are editorial, so this is partly a new composition, albeit in a style intended to resemble Layolle's, or at least similar repertoire of the same period.

O bone Jesu, salvator mundi, iustos conserva,
peccatores iustifica, et omnibus fidelibus defunctis miserere,

Kind Jesus, saviour of the world, save the just,
make the sinners righteous, and have mercy on all the faithful dead,
and look favourably upon me, a most miserable sinner.
