1. O gracious light, the brightness pure
Of the eternal One;
O Jesus Christ, holy and blessed,
The Father's only Son!

2. Our eyes now, as the sunset comes,
Behold the vesper light;
We sing thy praises, Father, Son,
And Spirit as is right.

3. Lord, thou art worthy at all times
Of joyful voices' praise,
