English translation The people of [in] Israel did sing [God’s praise], and the whole congregation of Jacob sang [as it was due,] and David with his singers played the harp in the house of the Lord and sang God’s praise. The priests and levites [therefore] have sanctified themselves, and the whole congregation of Jacob brought forth the Ark of the Covenant with rejoicing, and David with his singers played the harp in the house of the Lord and sang God’s praise.
