Italian text Ancidetemi cruda A che tanto languire Fatemi hormai morire Che fia si bella man dandomi morte La mia felice, aventurosa sorte.

English text Slay me, O cruel one, ah, why must I languish so? Let me die this instant, so that this lovely hand, in giving death, may be my blissful, happy fate!
