Hi Barry, | |||
Unfortunately I'm unable to find scans of the original printed partbooks from which these choirbook manuscripts were copied; I will get on finding content lists to create a new page. Certainly an interesting set of sources, as we often associate choirbook/manuscript = older and print/partbook = newer! Previously published?
The description of his manuscript states that it was "largely copied" from two publications; apparently not all of the contents of the manuscript had been previously published. I found two descriptions (one, two) of the first one, but I couldn't find a scan or a list of contents. I also found a description of the second publication. Should I create pages for these? I would appreciate some help in locating scans and contents lists. Thanks. — Barry Johnston (talk) 17:50, 6 August 2022 (UTC)
