Ave virgo gloriosa,
Super omnes speciosa,
Cuius ortus singularis
O Maria stella maris

Ave Deo iam electa
Sine labe tu concepta
Et Regina coronata
In perpetuum beata,

Per quod ave salutaris
Mox concepis sæcundaris,
Nobis prolem protulisti
Mundo lapso subvenisti

Ave verbi summi parens
Ave rosa spina carens
Mundi decus stella maris
Serva servos a procella

Ave quod in cælum scandis
Et est honor tibi grandis
Ipsum pingis novo flore
Semper manens cum

Virgo mater et Regina
Morum dux et disciplina
Placa regem prece pia
Dele culpas o Maria
Per te vero patet via
Ad æterna gaudia.

Hail, virgin most glorious,
Beautiful above all,
O Maria, the sole rising
star of the sea.

Hail, You whom God has chosen,
Who conciewed without stain
and who was crowned
Queen blessed for ever.

By this saving greating
was concieved
and born to us
the salvation of this fallen world.

Hail, mother to the highest Word,
rose without thorn
honored by all the world, star of sea,
protector of your servants from storms.

Hail, you who rose to heaven,
whos honour is great,
The new flower
who ever stays with us.

Virgin Mother and Queen,
moral guide and educator,
pray piously to the King
that he delete our faults,
o Maria, You who is the way
to the eternal joy.
