Exaltata est sancta Dei genitrix,
super choros angelorum ad caelestia regna,
Maria virgo caelos ascendit:
Gaudete, quia cum Christo regnat in aeternum.
English translation
The holy mother of God has gone up
to the heavenly kingdom, above the choirs of angels:
the virgin Mary ascends to heaven.
Rejoice, for she reigns with Christ in all eternity.
