Life
Born: 3 January 1823
Died: 30 January 1881
Biography Considered the father of modern organ technique, Lemmens studied with François-Joseph Fétis and Adolf Friedrich Hesse and in turn taught Alexandre Guilmant and Charles-Marie Widor.
