Error.gif Possible error(s) identified. Error summary: The plainchant in this edition has been notated a third too low, or to put it another way, the F clef should appear on the middle line of the stave. Hence the apparently odd mode. (For confirmation of this, see the cantus firmus in the polyphony, or compare Liber Hymnarius).

Jesu nostra redemptio,
Amor et desiderium,
Deus Creator omnium,
Homo in fine tempore.

Inferni claustra penetrans,
tuos captivos redimens
victor triumpho nobili
ad dextram Patris residens.

Tu esto nostrum gaudium,
qui es futurus praemium
sit nostra in te gloria
per cuncta semper saecula.

Quae te vicit clementia
ut ferres nostra crimina
crudelem mortem patiens
ut nos a morte tolleres.

Ipsa te cogat pietas
ut mala nostra superes
parcendo voti compotes
nos tuo vultu saties.
