Edition notes: A semi-diplomatical edition. Text underlay of the first and second verses follows those of the source. The SATB parts have been collaterated against those in the Sacrorum Hymnorum print and the differences are expounded in footnotes. In one instance a lacuna in the source is ammended from Sacr. Hymn.

Description: A five part setting of the Hymn Jesus Christus nostra salus from from D-Dl Ms Mus. 1/D/505 (Annaberger Chorbuch I). The SATB voices are almost identical to those of the four part setting to the second verse of the hymn, O quam sanctus panis iste (Heinrich Finck), published 1542 in G. Rawh, Thomas Stolzer & ali: SACRORVM HYMNORVM LIBER PRIMUS .... The Vagans (baritone) voice is textless. The verses 1-8 are given in the other parts either underlayd or after the part. In The Bassus part only the first line of each stanza is given.
