Biography

Erk, Ludwig Christian, geb. 6. Jan. 1807 zu Wetzlar; war 1826-35 Musiklehrer am Seminar zu Mörs am Niederrhein, von Oktober 1835 bis Ostern 1877 Lehrer der Musik am Königlichen Seminar für Stadtschulen in Berlin; gest. das. 25. Nov. 1883 als Königlicher Professor und Musikdirektor.
