Musa Dei donum est: descendit ab aethere musa.
Ergo sit in laudes officiosa Dei.

German translation

Gottes Geschenk ist die Muse, vom Himmel herab kam die Muse,
also gebührt unser Lob Gottes gehorsamer Magd.

English translation

The muse (of music?) is a gift from God: the muse has descended from Heaven.
Therefore God’s obedient maid is worthy of our praise.
