English text
Praise the Lord, O my soul;
while I live will I praise the Lord:
Yea, as long as I have any being,
I will sing praises unto my God.
O pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
They shall prosper that love thee.
Peace be within they walls
and plenteousness within thy palaces.
For my brethren and companions’ sake,
I will wish thee prosperity
because of the house of the Lord our God,
I will seek to do thee good.
They that put their trust in the Lord shall be even as the Mount Sion,
which may not be removed, but standeth fast for ever.
As the mountains are round about Jerusalem:
so the Lord is round about his people, from henceforth even for ever.
