In edition #03759, the soprano part in m. 88, 4th beat should have two eighth notes, G-natural and E-flat, with the syllables "of Je-" so that the melisma in m. 89 is entirely on the syllable "ru."
Additionally, the rehearsal mark for m. 78 in the original Novello score is FF, not G. Thus, all the subsequent rehearsal letters are different from the original publication. This is especially relevant because the editor of edition #03759 retained the instruction to skip to rehearsal G if the "Vivats" are omitted. Conductors should skip to m. 81 if omitting the "Vivats," which is letter H in edition #03759. Jon Arnold (talk) 02:23, 2 February 2023 (UTC)
