Life

Born: c. 1529

Died: 1591

Biography Little is known about William Mundy. He was father to John Mundy, an organist and also a composer. There is some ambiguity when works are attributed to Mundy without specifying which one. William served at the Chapel Royal starting 1562–3, until 1591, which is therefore believed to be the year of his death.
