Latin text Afflicti pro peccatis nostris, cum lacrimis quotidie expectamus finem nostrum; dolor cordis nostri ascendat ad te, Domine, ut eruas nos a malis, quae innovantur in nobis.

German translation Bedrückt ob unserer Sünden, erwarten wir unter Tränen täglich unser Ende, der Schmerz unseres Herzens steige auf zu dir, Herr, damit du uns befreist vom Bösen, das in uns immer wieder von neuem entsteht. Translation by Gerhard Weydt
