Latin text Ah, vide, Domine, nostrum laborem flagrantem tibi serviendi ardorem. Laborate, vigilate, ego sum remunerator, Dominus salutis dator, vos labori nati estis, laborate dum potestis. Pro gloria nominis tui infinita, hic ecce sanguis, anima, atque vita. Propter te tota die fatigamur et in spe tuæ clementiæ consolamur, laborabimus, vigilabimus pro ut velis. Ut merces nostra copiosa sit in cælis.

Dutch translation Ach zie toch, Heer, hoe wij arbeiden in de brandende hitte. Arbeidt, en waakt, ik ben jullie beloner, de Heer die het heil geeft, jullie zijn geboren om te arbeiden, arbeidt dus wat je kunt. Want uw naam is oneindig, zie hier het bloed, de ziel en het leven. Voor u zwoegen wij de ganse dag, en vertrouwen op uw genade; wij arbeiden en waken zoals u wilt. Hoe groot is onze beloning in de hemel.

English translation Ah, see, Lord, how we labour in the burning heat. Work, and watch, I am your rewarder, the Lord who gives salvation, you are born to work, so work what you can. Because your name is infinite, see here the blood, the soul and the life. We labour all day long for you and trust in your grace; we work and watch as you wish. How great is our reward in heaven.
